PSD Partners have deep experience sourcing company growth funding. We get our clients’ businesses in front of serious, active funding investors. These investors have an appetite for supporting early-mid stage businesses. This means that entrepreneurs will get to the right investors quicker. This saves on those other precious elements of success- Time and Energy. PSD will ensure that a business’ plan, presentations, elevator summaries are pitched in such a way to attract the right investor.

In consequence, our goal is to work with our clients to produce the best funding message possible, sourcing company growth funding.

Furthermore, we do not look for a retainer fee, but we do require a business to make a commitment to the process in the form of a binding charter.

Types of Business PSD can help with their funding

We can help a business with ambition to source the funding that it requires.

Our clients are businesses who have raised “seed capital” from family and friends (circa €500,000). They have used this money to achieve a “proof of concept”. They are well on their way to, “break-even”. However, we have also worked with early stage business, where the founder’s commitment is complete.

Investors have a direct interest in your business, PSD Partners helps clients who share investor’s goals. Investors will be interested in an exit from a business in 5 years period.

PSD Partners’ Approach

Our approach is simple. We understand your  business model. We work with you to prepare a compelling 2 page funding summary. Finally, we agree with you, a target list of investors.

PSD Partners will get you a series of funding meetings. We will help you prepare a 20 minute funding presentation. We will guide the process to the point where your business has funding success.

  • Understanding Your Business

    We will funding test a client’s business concept and plans, similar to the testing that an investor will do. We will challenge assumptions, looks at critical success factors and understand what it is that makes you such a compelling business seeking funding.

  • Prepare Summary and arrange meetings

    On agreement, PSD Partners helps it clients compile a compelling a 2 page funding summary. This gives potential investors enough insight in your business to raise their interest to a point where they will take a face to face meeting with you.

    PSD Partners will agree a list of potential funding investors with a client. You may have a potential investor that you specifically wish to talk to; we  will add them to the list and make contact for you. While PSD Partners have a list of some 200 investors with an interest to invest, we do not work from a panel and treat each client as the unique funding challenge that it is.

    The purpose of the summary and the investor list is to get a client’s business in front of two to three interested investors. PSD Partners will arrange one hour of an investor’s time for a private face-to-face meeting. The first 20 minutes will be your business funding presentation with 40 minutes to discuss the issues of interest for the investor, about your business.

  • The Investor Presentation

    The investor funding presentation must tell the client’s business story in a compelling way, in a 12 slide presentation which must be delivered in 20 minutes.

  • Investor Meeting and Due Diligence

    At this point you will be ready for the investor funding meeting. PSD Partners will accompany you to this meeting and will act as an observer to provide feedback to the business about the meeting and arrange any further information that the investor may require.

    An interested investor will conduct a funding due diligence process. This will be an involved process and will require full disclosure by a business of its processes, finances, and other relevant information. It may include external advisors to the investor considering your product, market technology, USP, CSF and finances.

    While PSD Partners will assist in this process, it is also an opportunity for the investor and business to come to understand and know each other better and assess the funding fit between the two.

    PSD Partners will provide the assistance necessary to aid a successful funding investment.
